After Criticism, Mark Zuckerberg Says Facebook Will Activate Safety Check For More Human Disasters

In the last 24 hours, 4.1 million people marked themselves safe using Facebook's Safety Check, after the social media platform activated the tool for people near the terror attacks in Paris, enabling them to easily tell their friends and family that they were safe. As a result 360 million people have been notified that their Facebook friends are unharmed.
